Apple AirPlay lets you wirelessly stream content from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to your Vizio SmartCast TV. You can cast videos, mirror your screen, share photos, and play music through your TV speakers. This guide covers setup and troubleshooting for all compatible Vizio models.
Vizio TV AirPlay Compatibility
AirPlay 2 is available on Vizio SmartCast TVs from 2016 and later. To check if your Vizio supports AirPlay:
- Press the Menu button on your remote
- Go to System
- Look for Apple AirPlay in the menu

- P-Series Quantum (2018 and later)

Step 1: Enable AirPlay on Vizio TV

Troubleshooting AirPlay Issues
Vizio TV Not Appearing in AirPlay List
- Confirm both devices are on the same WiFi network
- Restart both your TV and Apple device
- Check that AirPlay is enabled in TV settings
- Update your Vizio TV firmware
- Update your Apple device to the latest iOS/macOS
Connection Drops or Stutters
- Move your router closer to both devices
- Reduce WiFi interference from other devices
