Peacock brings NBC content, live sports, and exclusive originals to your Vizio SmartCast TV. This guide covers downloading, installing, and activating Peacock on all Vizio SmartCast models.

Vizio TV Compatibility

Peacock works on Vizio SmartCast TVs:

• SmartCast 4.0+ (2018 and newer) - Full support with native app
• SmartCast 3.0 (2016-2017) - Full support
• SmartCast 2.0 (2016) - Limited support
• Older Vizio TVs - Use Chromecast or streaming device

Check Your SmartCast Version

1. Press the Menu button on your Vizio remote
2. Go to System > System Information
3. Look for SmartCast Version

Step 1: Download Peacock

On SmartCast Home

1. Press the V or Home button on your remote
2. Navigate to the App Row at the bottom
3. Select All Apps or scroll to find Peacock
4. If not visible, select + (Add App)
5. Search for "Peacock"
6. Select Install

Alternative: Cast from Mobile

If the app isn't available on your Vizio TV:

1. Install Peacock on your phone or tablet
2. Connect your phone to the same WiFi as your Vizio TV
3. Open Peacock and start playing content
4. Tap the Cast icon
5. Select your Vizio TV

Activation Process

1. Open the Peacock app on your Vizio TV
2. Select Sign In
3. An activation code will appear on screen
4. On your phone or computer, visit peacocktv.com/tv
5. Enter the activation code
6. Sign in to your Peacock account (or create one)
7. Your Vizio TV will automatically activate

2. Click Sign Up

App Crashes or Freezes

1. Close the app: Press Home, navigate to Peacock, press and hold OK, select Close
2. Clear app cache: Menu > Apps > Peacock > Clear Cache
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app
4. Factory reset as last resort

No Sound

• Check TV volume isn't muted
• Try a different show or movie
• Check audio settings: Menu > Audio
• Restart the Peacock app

Picture Quality Settings

For the best Peacock experience on Vizio:

1. Press Menu on your remote
2. Go to Picture settings
3. Select Picture Mode - Try "Calibrated" or "Movie"
