Congratulations on your new Insignia TV! This comprehensive guide walks you through first-time setup from unboxing to streaming your first show. Insignia TVs are Best Buy's exclusive brand, offering excellent value with Fire TV or Roku built-in.

Unboxing and Physical Setup

What's in the Box

• Insignia TV (screen protected with film - remove before use)
• Remote control (batteries usually included)
• Stand/legs (for tabletop placement)

• Mounting hardware (screws, wall mount bracket on some models)

Placement Options

Tabletop Setup:

1. Attach the stand legs to the bottom of the TV using included screws
2. Place TV on a stable, level surface
3. Ensure adequate ventilation (6 inches clearance on all sides)

Wall Mount Setup:

1. Check your TV's VESA mount pattern (usually 200x200mm or 400x400mm)
2. Purchase a compatible wall mount bracket
3. Follow wall mount instructions carefully
4. Ensure the mount is secured to wall studs

Connecting Cables

• Power: Connect power cord to TV and wall outlet
• Antenna/Cable: Connect to "ANT/Cable In" port if using over-the-air TV

Fire TV Models: Sign in with your Amazon account. The TV will automatically download your apps and settings.
